4.5.2.2 Varicomp initiation. The sample spitback lead
assemblies shall be randomly selected from each lot. The lead
shall be assembled in accordance with drawing 11834346 and
functioned as in 4.5.2.1. A lead that fails as specified in
4.5.2.1 shall be classed defective. The indentation depth shall
be measured using the probe specified in 4.5.2.1.
PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY

5.1 Packaging, packing, marking and labeling requirements.
Packaging, packing, marking and labeling shall meet the Department
of Transporation Regulation 49 CFR 100-199 and shall be submitted
to and approved by the contracting officer prior to the initial
shipment. No subsequent changes shall be made prior to obtaining
new approval. Part number, lot number and description shall be
clearly marked on the top of each inner box anc carton. The inner
packing must confine the lead during shipment. The inner package
shall permit quick and easy removal of the lead by the user
without the packaging material contaminating the product. the
outer packing must contain lot number, part number, nomenclature
and hazard marking information.

inspection system in accordance with MIL-Q-9858, Quality Program
Requirements.
