A cartridge shall be classed defective if it fires, due to delayed
ignition after the bolt has been unlocked and extraction has been initiated
or completed.
Misfiring test cartridges, excepting those from the waterproofness test
(Table I), shall be retested in accordance with the method of 4.5.11. If
a cartridge fails to function in that test, examinations shall be conducted
for the following conditions:
