(a) Fire one group of 50 links conditioned at -65°F.
(b) Fire a second group of 50 links conditioned at
ambient temperature (+70°F).
(c) Fire a third group of 50 links conditioned at
+165°F.
Left hand feed. Repeat the tests prescribed in 4.6.2.4.1,
4.6.2.4.2
reusing the same links, but firing from left hand feed.

Links conditioned at one temperature shall be recon-
ditioned at that same temperature, and shall not be intermixed with
other groups.

Each link shall be used a total of two times for the
tests of 4.6.2.4.1 and 4.6.2.4.2.

Right hand feed.
Test fire 30 belted rounds under the
following conditions:
(a) Three 10 round belts shall be assembled. Each
belt shall consist of two MARK 2 MOD 1 links and six previously
accepted MARK 2 MOD 2 links.
(b) Fire one 10 round belt conditioned at -65°F.
(c) Fire a second 10 round belt conditioned at ambient
temperature (+70°F).
(d) Fire a third 10 round belt conditioned at +165°F.
4.6.2.5.2
Left hand feed. Repeat the tests prescribed in 4.6,2.5.1,
using a new group of MARX 2 MOD 1 links, but firing from left hand feed.
4.6.2.6
When link failures occur which cause a lot to be
rejected, testing of that lot shall be terminated. If link breakage
or belt separations occur which do not cause rejection of the lot,
remove the broken or dislodged links and continue testing (See 4.6.3).
Records of link breakages and belt separations shall be kept for each
lot.
