Preservation. The supplementary oil finish applied

Exterior containers. Links, in numbers specified in

forming to drawings listed in LD 288383 for the MARK 2 MOD 1 links,
and LD 256010 for the MARK 2 MOD 2 links.
Cushioning. The pack shall incorporate sufficient

cushioning material, bracing, or other adequate shock absorbing devices:
to ensure that the links will meet all of the requirements of Section 3.

Exterior containers. Links, in numbers specified in

the contract or order (See 6.2) , shall be packed to afford protection
against damage during direct shipment from the supply source to the
first receiving activity for immediate use. Shipping containers shall
conform to the carrier rules and regulations applicable to the mode of
transportation.
